Non destructive testing of boilers, gas cylinders, and amusement facilities
Boilers, gas cylinders, and amusement facilities are all special equipment that require regular non-destructive testing during use to ensure safe and long-term operation. To improve the reliability of testing results, the most suitable non-destructive testing method should be selected based on the material, manufacturing method, working medium, failure mode, and expected defect types, shapes, positions, and orientations of the equipment. Multiple testing methods can also be used to complement each other's strengths.
Common non-destructive testing methods include ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, eddy current testing, radiographic testing, etc. These methods can detect defects on the surface and inside of the equipment, such as cracks, fatigue, corrosion, etc., and take timely measures to repair or replace them to ensure the normal operation and safety of the equipment.
